Surface Unit Model SLT2000SX
|
The Scubaphone-like all of Subsea's products employs crystal-controlled
single side band (SSB) ultrasonic techniques. Scubaphone's SSB
technology provides distortion free transmissions and extended battery
life. Diving teams will enjoy clear communications even in strong
currents or waters crowded with ships, wharf pilings, or debris and even
while inside sunken ships, pipes or other enclosed areas. The
Scubaphone is
compatible with all other Subsea communication
products.

Scubaphone Model SLT2000D and SLT2000SX
To optimize the field of communications the Scubaphone diver unit is an integrated head-mounted communications
transceiver. It consists of two high-output speaker enclosures housing all electronic circuitry and rechargeable ni-cad
battery pack, a transducer attached to the top of the headband, and a push-to-talk activated microphone which fits into
any full-ace diving mask. The entire unit is water and pressure proof to 100 meters. This unique design provides a
lightweight (only 750 grams in water), comfortable, easy-to-use system with proven reliability and ruggedness.

Diver Unit Model SLT1080D
The Scubaphone SLT1080D VOX is a high-performance wireless
communications system offering up to 3 km diver-to-diver /
surface range. The transmitter is voice-activated (VOX) or PTT
(push-to-talk), selectable by the diver - thus allowing greater
freedom for the diver.

Diver Unit Model SLT1080D
Like Subsea's original Scubaphone SLT2000D, the Scubaphone SLT1080D VOX is the professional diving
team's anwer to reliable easy-to-use, and extremely clear wireless medium range underwater
communications
(up to 3 km under calm open water conditions). The Scubaphone SLT1080D VOX consists of a main unit
containing the transducer, the electronic circuitry and battery pack. This main unit may be either belt or tank
mounted. The headset contains two high-output speakers and a waterproof microphone which is floodable to
100m. The entire diver system is lightweight yet rugged, comfortable, and easy-to-use. The only exposed
connector is the connection to the microphone which has no metallic contact to corrode and may be utilized by
the diver while submerged.

- Consumes minimal power resulting in long battery life 10 hours at 15% transmit for diver units and
