  • 2 underwater video cameras
  • 2 diver & tender communications
  • Full screen or Split screen viewing of images from two dive cameras
  • 30 hours recording of video and audio - hard disk and easily downloadable
  • High brightness screen for daytime viewing
  • Harsh environment design

C-Vision is a superbly engineered, dual function video and communications system for both the inshore or portable
offshore diving market. The system allows up to two divers to have both video cameras and voice communications
monitored and recorded in a single easy to operate unit. Other camera inputs from additional sources such as ROV’s,
crane operations, etc, can also be fed into the optional split-screen video for viewing by the diving supervisor.

Simplicity
C-Vision removes the complication of separate video, communications and recording systems, along with the associated
cluster of wiring.

One cable contains all functions including video, communications, lamp power supply and other data functions, if required.
This cable can be part of the surface supplied umbilical or as a separate cable.

Video Control Station
The core of the C-Vision system is a portable surface control station incorporating video and variable light controls
for two cameras and lights, communications for up to 2 divers and tender, a waterproof keyboard linked to the inbuilt
rugged computer which enables text overlay, video recording and data outputs.

Screen
A 15.4” wide, daylight viewable screen offers excellent, clear images of underwater operations. It can be run in fullscreen, or
split screen mode. Split screen mode permits a second video camera from another diver, ROV or remote location (a
second camera and umbilical can be requested at time of ordering). The screen is a high quality industrial grade unit with
high brightness and wide viewing angles and has been specially selected for bright conditions (we found that cheaper units
are pretty useless during natural daylight).

Recording
C-Vision also offers up to 30 hours of continuous inbuilt recording of all of the data. A computer within the unit permits
multiple data outlets which will satisfy the most dedicated computer expert by permitting download of the dive immediately,
or even offers live viewing back at the offi ce, via USB2, eSATA, Firewire or LAN outputs.

Keyboard
The inbuilt waterproof keyboard is used for on-site data input of diving position, diving conditions, diver details and other
useful information. Date, time and elapsed time are generated automatically. Additionally readings from optional sensors
such as GPS, depth, CP etc can also be entered, displayed and recorded.

Communications System
The electronics in the C-Vision system are based on the same electronics from the ground-breaking C-Phone with
opto-isolation ensuring no interference and degradation in the quality of the audio signal.

No longer will the Supervisor be frustrated by ‘someone’ forgetting to re-charge the diver phone, as C-Vision has an inbuilt
auto charger for use in the event of mains failure. A handheld ‘push to talk’ microphone is supplied with the system.
Optional headsets with single or dual earpieces can be supplied to assist communication in a noisy environment.

Power
The system is mains powered (90-264 volts a.c., 50/60Hz auto select) with all underwater electrical outputs reduced to low
voltage in accordance with AODC/IMCA D035 guidance. An optional portable power supply has been designed by the
C-Tecnics team to permit operations away from mains power supplies. See under ‘Accessories’.

Low light Camera CT 3008
The CT 3008 camera is an extremely compact, high quality, colour camera which
features an excellent distortion free rectilinear fi xed focus, auto iris, and wide angle
lens. The camera is suitable for diver helmet mounting, being hand held with a pistol
grip and ROV mounting.

The low light sensitivity coupled with such high resolution and exceptionally wide, but
geometrically accurate, pictures combine to make an extremely versatile tool from
close inspection work through to general observation tasks.

Underwater high resolution (540 lines), low light sensitive (0.02 lux f1.2) colour camera fitted with a 2.6 mm auto-iris lens
with a hard anodised aluminium housing rated to 1000 meters water depth.

LED Light CT 4003
24 volt LED underwater light optimised for video use and fi tted with a frosted light
diffuser with a hard anodised aluminium housing rated to 1000 meters water depth.

The CT 4003 is our latest high tech LED underwater lamp which has advantage over
conventional filament lights in 4 signifi cant areas:

1. Smaller transformer - It has a low power requirement enabling
transformer size and weight to be substantially reduced in the C-Vision
Control unit.

2. Fewer Breakdowns - LED lights are more robust and therefore are
unlikely to break down in operational

3. Reduced size - Lower power requirements also enable umbilical
size to be reduced.

4. Portable power supply - Lower power requirements permit back-up
or portable power supplies to be used.

The new LEDS selected project a soft wide angled white light producing an even illumination to cover the widest angle of
view for all C-Tecnics cameras. The CT4003 light is also suitable for general underwater illumination including ROVs,
diver’s helmet and handheld cameras.

The connector fitted as standard is a waterproof 3 pin C-Tecnics RMG male.

Camera & Essential Equipment Transport Case
The cameras, lamps, helmet and/or hand held bracketry, spares, etc are supplied in a
matching waterproof rugged case.

The system is marinised in the true C-Tecnics tradition which makes many of their
systems the preferred choice of Navies and Diving contractors worldwide.

Umbilical Cable
The system is supplied as standard with a 100m multicore, composite water block
umbilical with a tough polyurethane sheath which is terminated with a rugged metal
shell topside connector which fits ontothe C-Vision Control Station. The other end has
a tough polyurethane moulding which divides into the camera and light cables.

The umbilical has spare wires to enable additional functionality such as a Depth
transducer to be fitted.

Camera & Light Mounting Equipment

The in water part of the system comprises the camera and light and these can be
mounted on Diving mask or helmet via special mounting brackets, or handheld by the
diver on a pistol-grip.

C-Tecnics has designed a clamped acrylic v-block to provide a secure mounting for
camera or lights which is used in conjunction with a stainless steel bracket for
attachment to dive helmets and masks.

Helmet bracket & Acrylic V block: Part No. CT9001
Hand grip: Part No. CT9010

Microphone
Standard PTT microphone: - this is supplied with the C-Vision system
Part No: CP0005

Accessories, Options and Spares

Headset with PTT
Some customers working in noisy environment request a headset, and the C-Tecnics
headset has been tried and tested in the harshest of conditions and found to be
superb.
Part No: CP0006

External Hard Drive
An optional, ruggedized and portable digital storage drive can be used as a further
recording extension or to download and transfer all information from C-Vision.
Part No: CT9050

Depth Transducer
C-Vision has been developed with stretch potential to utilise modern electronic
information gathering. The incorporation of the computer within the Control Station
permits electronic data gathering and the can now also record diver or equipment,
depth via a small transducer.
Part No: CD3

Portable Power Supply
This offers a real advance in diving in remote locations where there isn’t access to mains power supplies. A step-up
inverter provides mains voltage at 240v to the C-Vision system from the batteries contained within the heavy duty transport case
.
